Claudia Brandus

Claudia Brandus is a Romanian lawyer, active in the energy field since 2007, when she joined Enel Group being responsible for the legal activity related to the business development of the group in Romania. Since 2009 she has been working for Enel Green Power, the division of the group dedicated to the development of renewable energy, as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs in Romania. In this capacity she was part of the pioneers’ team who developed the first 3 GW of RES capacity in the country between 2007 and 2012, coping with all related satisfaction and challenges.  In 2012 she moved towards Regulatory affairs, being responsible for Rest of Europe and Africa countries, still within Enel Green Power.  In this position, she dealt with the “regulatory revolution” in the Eastern Europe countries (i.e. Romania, Greece and Bulgaria) while following the EU trends and guidelines and setting up the process of regulatory support for new countries (e.g.  South Africa, Turkey, Egypt, Russia and Morocco).
