Competition Policy Manager at Telefónica SA since July 2014. From July 2012 to July 2014, Senior Legal and Competition Counsel at Telefónica Europe plc, reporting to the General Counsel. Between 2000 and 2012, Competition Counsel at several companies of Telefónica Group, practicing competition law (antitrust, merger control and state aid), as well as, to a minor extent, telecoms regulatory law, unfair competition, advertising law and litigation. First professional experience at the European and Foreign Affairs General Direction of the regional administration Junta de Castilla y León.

Law Degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), EC Law Specialization at CEU San Pablo (Madrid) and EU Law Master (LLM) at the College of Europe (Bruges). In the academic field, usually collaborating in Masters and postgraduate courses (IE, CEU San Pablo, IEB…), as well as participating in specialized fora or events as speaker or chairperson. Publication of some articles and chapters related to competition and regulatory matters. Member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2004.
