Aleś Alachnovič

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s representative for economic reforms; Vice-President, CASE Belarus,

Aleś Alachnovič serves as Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s representative for economic reforms and a member of the Economic Group of the Coordination Council. Aleś is the Vice-President of the economic think tank CASE Belarus and a PhD candidate at the Warsaw School of Economics. Aleś graduated from the London School of Economics and the Warsaw School of Economics, and studied management at the National Taiwan University. Previously, he worked at EY, McKinsey and the National Bank of Poland.

Aleś has gathered over 10 years of academic and professional experience researching and specializing in Central and Eastern European economies, including market transition.

He is fluent in English, Russian, Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian and speaks German.
