Jean Pisani-Ferry appointed to the French Fiscal Council

Bruegel Director Jean Pisani-Ferry has been appointed to the French Fiscal Council. The Fiscal Council is a new body recently created following the ratification by France of the TSCG (Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance). It is in charge of providing independent assessments on the hypotheses underpinning the French budget and the public finance programmes. Participation in the FC is an independent, unpaid position.
