The jury, composed of five distinguished members of media, politics and academia, unanimously voted for Bruegel both in the European and Global categories for being “a constant source of excellent and prescient analysis of the eurozone crisis”, conducting “the most sophisticated analysis of the eurozone crisis”[1].

Other winners of this twelfth edition include Social Market Foundation in the UK category, Chatham House in Energy and Environment in the UK and Carnegie Endowment for North America.

The annual ceremony, held in The Royal Society of London, referred to Bruegel as the “go-to” organisation on the eurocrisis and “an invaluable source of analysis.” The judges particularly praised Bruegel’s work on European banking union and the relations between euro and non-euro European countries.
