Development of new energy and transport infrastructure to match Europe 2050 Energy Agenda

Description: The  aim of the project is to give policy recommendations on the public support for the deployment of new energy and transport infrastructure needed to meet the 2050 Energy Agenda.

The policy-relevant report will be based on the large existing literature on energy system transition and industrial policy as well as on original modeling results.

The project analyzes why public sector involvement is necessary, and which pieces for a successful transition to new energy systems are still missing in Europe. It also examines how public support should be structured.
