Facing the aftermath

AEEF Conference, Tokyo, 24-25 March 2010



The fifth Asia Europe Economic Forum entitled Facing the aftermath was held at the Japanese Ministry of Finance in Tokyo. The event was organised by Bruegel in collaboration with CEPII, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the Keio University of Japan, and Korea University. The event was also supported by the European Commission. The forum drew a broad range of participants including active and former senior policymakers, academic experts and private sector specialists. This year's agenda focused on reforms, budgets, G20 hopes from both Asian and European perspectives.
