Policy briefs

Policy briefs provide concise, up-to-date analyses targeted towards a policy audience. They are typically eight pages, easy to read and fact-based, with an emphasis on concrete recommendations. Policy Briefs are distributed in both electronic and print formats.


Books

Books are written or edited by Bruegel scholars and are published under the Bruegel Books series. They provide in-depth analysis from a variety of perspectives on a current policy issue and are available online (without charge) or for sale in print form.


Working papers

Working papers present research done at, or in cooperation with Bruegel, which has been presented at conferences, is intended for publication in journals and volumes, or presents methodologies and detailed results underpinning policy-oriented publications.


Blueprints

Blueprints series consists of longer reports and aims at going beyond economic analyses to make detailed recommendations to policymakers. They are published with International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) in full colour.


Policy contributions

Policy contributions are concise contributions to particular policy debates, typically testimonies at hearings, or responses to political consultation papers. They are published online only.


Essay and lectures

Essay and lectures series provides a compact record of the views of scholars and practitioners as they write for, or lecture at Bruegel events. The series provides the reader with a grounding in the main arguments of a current topic for debate, adding thought-provoking insights.
