Gayane Nanushyan

Gayane joined Bruegel in September 2023 as the Office and facilities coordinator. A native of Armenia, Gayane studied at the Foreign Languages Department at the University of International Relations and later at the American University of Armenia. She has three years of experience working on different projects both as a personal assistant and a project coordinator at the American Embassy Yerevan.

In Belgium, her working experience is mostly built around the NGO sector. She worked at a number of American and British organisations in the area of conflict resolution, international peace and security and criminal justice, providing a range of services in office management, HR and events. Furthermore, she worked as Office Manager at The Economist magazine Brussels at the time of their transition to Politico.

In addition to her native Russian and Armenian, Gayane speaks English and French.
