Conor Brummell

Conor joined Bruegel in November 2022. He is responsible for the curation of Bruegel's website and social media channels, along with editing aspects of Bruegel's research output. 

He holds a BA in Journalism with History and Irish from the National University of Ireland, Galway (now rebranded as the University of Galway). His previous experiences include a traineeship in the European Parliament and working in a Public Affairs and Communications Agency in Brussels, where he gained valuable insights into social media and media relations strategies. 

Prior to life in Brussels, Conor worked as a freelance broadcast and print journalist in Ireland. He is a native English speaker, and is fluent in Irish, with some conversational German.
