Bruegel’s members yesterday confirmed the decision of its Board of 13 May 2013 to appoint Guntram Wolff as Director. Dr. Wolff replaces Jean Pisani-Ferry, who left Bruegel at the end of April to take up a position in the French government.

Today Bruegel’s Director Jean Pisani-Ferry was appointed Director of the French Prime Minister’s Economic Policy Planning Staff in Paris. Bruegel’s Board is engaged in the process of selecting a new Director. Pending completion of this process, Deputy Director Guntram Wolff has been appointed Acting Director.
