Leire Ariz
Media Officer
Leire, a Spanish citizen, joined Bruegel in March 2012 as a Communication Intern and became an Officer in September. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Navarra and has an International Media Program diploma with the George Washington University of DC.
Prior to joining Bruegel, Leire worked as a Media Officer at ThinkYoung, a think tank working to promote the youth's interests in the EU institutions. She acquired experience in Journalism interning for the Latin American branch of CNN and as the assistant to a war correspondent.
She speaks fluent English, Spanish and Basque and conversational French.
