Jaume Ventura is a Senior Researcher at the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI) in Barcelona, Spain (since 2002). He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University in 1995. He was a Pentti Kouri Career Development Associate Professor (1999-2002) and an Associate Professor of Economics with Tenure (2002-2003) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Jaume Ventura is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER, a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and the Associate Editor of the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Bepress Journals in Macroeconomics and Moneda y Crédito. He has taught at the University of Chicago and INSEAD, and served as a consultant for The World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. His research interests include international economics and macroeconomics.
