Paul Seabright

Paul Seabright is a Member of the Toulouse School of Economics, Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and Professor Assistant at École Polytechnique, Paris. He is also managing editor of Economic Policy. His research interests encompass microeconomic theory, theory of organisation, industrial and competition policy development economics and transition economics.
He holds a D.Phil. in Economics from University of Oxford (1988). He has been a visiting scholar at several institutes around the world: 1984-5 at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, India; 1992-3 at Institut d'Economie Industrielle, University of Toulouse, France; from January-June 2000 at the Institut d’Anàlasi Economica at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. He gave the Royal Economic Society Annual Public Lecture in 2005.
