Peter Neary

Peter Neary is Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford. Previously, he taught political economy at University College Dublin. His main research field is international trade theory. He has also published extensively on consumer theory, industrial organisation and macroeconomics. In addition to his full-time position in Oxford, Peter Neary is a Research Fellow of the Centre for European Policy Research.

He has served on the Council of the Econometric Society and the Royal Economic Society and has been President of the Irish Economic Association, the European Economic Association and the Economics Section of the British Association for the Advancement of Science.
