GMF strategic partnership

Bruegel and the German Marshall Fund (GMF) have concluded a strategic partnership grant agreement for the three year period of 2009-2011.  This strategic partnership will leverage Bruegel‘s intellectual expertise, GMF‘s convening capabilities and networks in Washington and across Europe, and GMF‘s growing in-house expertise across possible programme areas, some of which are listed below. Another topic may be added:

• Financial Crisis
• Central and Eastern European (CEE) economies and economic relations with the CEE countries
• Climate Change Policies and Competitiveness

GMF and Bruegel will collaborate on these topics in the coming three years through a variety of means including the development of research products, organising conferences and seminars, written publications for external audiences, programming for fellows, staff, and other important visitors, etc.
